For the last 30 years, Kim Hart has been the leading developer of attainable housing in Loudoun County where he has delivered over 800 units of attainable housing, much of that funded with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Kim has operated in both the non-profit world, with the Windy Hill Foundation for 24 years, and most recently in the for-profit world for the last seven years, as the Managing Member of Good Works

After receiving his MBA, Kim transitioned into energy consulting where he worked for the Energy Division of Booz-Allen & Hamilton. As a published author, Kim helped to define the green building movement in America. He has used this commitment to sustainable green buildings to help transform the image of attainable housing, as recognized by winning the 2013 Governor’s Award for the “Best Affordable Housing Conservation Efforts of the Year.”

John Pellerito serves as the Managing Principal of Cypress Real Estate Company, which specializes in acquiring value-add investment opportunities through internal capitalization and joint venture partnerships. Cypress will continue to focus on its core business strategy in addition to its management and investment in Good Housing.

Prior to starting Cypress Real Estate, John served as Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield, where he spent over 10 years leading the Land Advisory Group, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of complex real estate assets. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, John served as Vice President of Land for K. Hovnanian Homes.

Colin Stiles is a co-founder and principal of Cypress Real Estate Company where he focuses on land transactions, entitlements, and site plan approvals. Colin has long-standing relationships with key real estate consultants, attorneys, and politicians, allowing him to effectively navigate the approval process to ensure timely project delivery within budget.

Prior to joining Cypress Real Estate, Colin was the principal of Terra Dominion Group (TDG). Before that, Colin served as Vice President of Land at Lennar in Northern Virginia, as Director of Land for Arcadia Communities, and as Senior Land Acquisition Manager for K. Hovnanian Homes.
